Writing about travel is a great way to remember the trip. Most of these pieces were written when I was into endurance travel—seeing a lot of places in a short amount of time.
I'm most fond of the traveling I did in Mexico in 2006. It was the first time I (nearly) completely let go and went wherever the breeze took me. It was the first time I hitchhiked—truly a memorable experience.
